Description: Fazenda Santa Hedwirges - SH Coffees has over 90 years of history and tradition passed down from father to son. It has four independent production centers presenting different microclimates, altitudes, varieties and processes.Sustainable environmental practices are constantly implemented and evaluated, seeking to promote biodiversity in the field. Planting of native trees, sewage treatment and the correct use of pesticides are some of the actions taken to preserve the more than 350 hectares of green areas.
Arara was an unplanned cross while cultivating new varieties at the Fundação Procafé. Launched in 2012 by Fundação Procafé but only after fifteen years of studies.
Very vigorous and productive trees with yellow fruit and an immunity to coffee leaf rust. Their small size, the yellow fruit, and the high productivity drew attention in the plantation.
